What the site sends

Your search stays in your browser until you request live availability. That request sends the city coordinates, stay dates, selected age, and declared booking country to our server so it can ask Booking.com for availability. A flight lookup sends the flight number and departure date to AeroDataBox only when you choose to use it.

Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate page performance. We also count only aggregate search submissions, Booking clicks, and flight lookups. Those counters contain no search terms, dates, cities, airports, flight numbers, property IDs, or account identifiers.

Affiliate links, and the choice you get

Travelpayouts runs a script on this site that turns outbound travel links into affiliate links, which is how the site pays for itself. It reads the text of the page you are on, including the results you were shown, and sends a copy to Travelpayouts so it can match an offer to it. It keeps an identifier in your browser so that a booking you make later can be credited, and it reports its own errors to a Travelpayouts error service. It receives no email and no account, because there is no account.

None of that is needed for the search to work, so where the law requires consent we ask before it runs. If you are in the EU, the EEA, the United Kingdom, Gibraltar or Switzerland you are asked on your first visit, and the script does not load until you say yes. Your answer is kept in one cookie on this site for 180 days, whether the answer was yes or no. That cookie holds the answer and the date and nothing else, and it is not an identifier.

You can change your mind at any time, and changing it to no is exactly as easy as changing it to yes.

You have not answered yet, or your answer has been cleared.

To decide whether to ask, our server reads the country your connection is coming from, which Cloudflare provides with every request. It is used for that one decision and is not stored, not logged, and not sent anywhere.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is outside this choice because it keeps nothing in your browser and sets no identifier, so there is nothing to consent to.

Travelpayouts is the party that decides how long its own identifier lives and where it is processed, and it operates outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. We have not been able to read a specific retention period or transfer safeguard in a document we can cite, so this page does not state one. Read their notice before you allow the script. Saying no keeps it from running at all, which is the reliable answer if that gap matters to you.

External services

Booking.com, AeroDataBox, and Travelpayouts process requests under their own terms and privacy notices. Opening a Booking.com link leaves this site.
